After getting the wife to buy me a new PDA, I finally discovered a new repairer of the old machine! Grrr… they’re up in Queensland, and when I rang for a quote they said oooh…. around $200 or so… agghh…!! I *have* to repair is as it originally cost around $1500 and the new one was no cheaper (although much better specs) - but still… I wish I’d found this out a couple of weeks ago!
